Installed firefox and works normally until I have to turn off my computer, then it does not start

I install firefox, and it works great as long as I do not restart my computer. Whenever I turn off or restart my computer it just opens a blank white not responding screen and I can't do anything with it. I have to uninstall and reinstall it everytime to get it to work. Any help?
