How to fix popups when pop up blocker is already on?
I have already gone into Firefox preferences, turned my popup blocker on, and removed all exceptions. However, I'm still getting a TON of popups, mostly for software updates and downloads. There is no malware on my computer and the popups do have the Firefox bookmark bar, so I know they are coming from Firefox.
Please help! It's really frustrating and slowing my computer down because they're constantly getting in the way when I'm trying to navigate.

The Firefox 23 version that you currently run is no longer supported with security updates.
- It is important to update Firefox and add-ons to the latest version to get all security fixes.
