Which FF version and Video Download Helper add-on version work together to allow pausing of downloads?
Hello,
As we all know Video DownloadHelper 4.9.21 has a problem. It doesn't allow pausing of downloads. There was a moment when it was possible to pause downloads.
I have spent some hours searching for this problem of "Firefox can't pause downloads" and discovered the problem is due to VDH 4.9.21.
I want to turn back. I want to go back to when it worked, but unfortunately I didn't take note of when was that. I don't remember what version of FF, and what version of VDH I was running back then.
If you currently have, or do remember the latest working combination of FF and VDH kindly let me know. Don't caution me of dangers of downgrading, I have already read of such warnings when I was researching.
I use Windows 7, 64-bit. And currently have FF 26.0 and VDH 4.9.21

Sorry, but this add-on was not developed, nor is it maintained my Mozilla.
For further assistance please contact the add-on developer.
Note: Because older versions of Firefox may contain various security and functionality issues, it is not recommended that you use an older version.
Hello @Wesley and @Cor-el,
Please note my question is not how to fix or report the bug. But need to know the version of FF and VDH that worked well together. I remember there was a time it worked well. But then FF was updated and VDH was updated and now it doesn't work well.
As I said above, since the Video Download Helper is not an extension that was created or maintained by Mozilla, we can't help with this.
To get help with this, you will need to contact the add-on developer(s) directly.
Sorry for any inconvenience.
If the issue is specific to that version of Video DownloadHelper, you can try the previous version at https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/video-downloadhelper/versions/. That's usually a safer bet than using a previous version of Firefox.
