Is it possible that Mozilla/Firefox security could be interfering with my Quicken 2014 registration?

Have been using Quicken for years and Quicken 2014 requires me to register before I can download my financial information from well-established (with me and with previous versions of Quicken.) Have tried to resolve this with Quicken help desks (several.) They have finally suggested that my (Mozilla) security or (Microsoft) security or (iolo ) security are getting in the way of my internet problems. Can you eliminate Mozilla/Firefox as a possible interfering program?? Quicken has put me through several hours of problem-solving suggestions, none of which have made any difference. Thanks in advance. RDE

Chosen solution

Start Firefox in Safe Mode to check if one of the extensions (Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Extensions) or if hardware acceleration is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Appearance).

  • Do NOT click the Reset button on the Safe Mode start window.

Does it work in a Private Browsing mode window?
