using (file, edit, view) type page and would like to change the bookmarks dropdown menu i would like to get rid of: Bookmark current tab, seach bookmarks, bookmark all tabs and the separators i don't use tabs, i just open new windows if i can't delete them, would like to be able to move them to the bottom thank you

This is not a question. It is a statement of issues. I recently bought a new computer and tried to install Thunderbird on my new system. The installation went fine. The setup was one problem after another. Thunderbird required multiple attempts to connect with Outlook and sync my account. Next, I tried to import my contacts. Thunderbird failed numerous attempts to sync contacts. I finally had to manually import my contacts. Then spent an hour manually cleaning up my contacts. Thunderbird seems to have randomly assigned field names. (Names imported as numbers or dates) In addition, it imported contacts without associated data. (No email address, phone numbers etc.) After all that, Thunderbird would not allow me to use any of the contacts. The address book is there, the contacts are there, but it would not reference the address book when I tried to send an email. I had to go to the address book, copy the email and paste it into the to: field.

Next, I tried to create events and tasks. First problem, all calendars were disabled by default and no option was offered to enable the calendars. I spent another 45 min. trying to find a setting or something to enable the calendars. When I finally got them enabled, I spent another hour trying to get Thunderbird to create events and tasks. Thunderbird will not create either. I spent far more time than is rational to create each event and task. When I completed each attempt, Thunderbird trashed them. No event or task was ever created. At this point I uninstalled Thunderbird and wrote it off as a bad idea.

Folks, I am not new to this. I have been using similar apps since their early days. I know how to install and setup these apps. I am very familiar with the problems that may be encountered. And this far worse than anything I have seen in a long time. I do not know what is going on at Mozilla, but they have got some serious problems to work out. I will steer clear of Thunderbird for now.

Get Messages doesn't work anymore. I created another profile with the same email address and it works fine. The issue is that I lost all my info, addresses, and most importantly the Calendar. I've been messing around with this all in trying to import that info into the new profile, but failing. I copied calendar-data to the new profile, but it doesn't show up. Can someone please help! Dear Team After Updating from 102.15.1 (32Bit) to 115.28.0 (32Bit) I can not connect to the provider "pop.hispeed.ch" anymore. Ping pop.hispeed.ch (on CMD) shows normal raction of beeing reachable with a "reply from xxxx.". I am on Windows 7 SP1. I have checked several times all setting POP and SMTP, switched off Firewall, uninstalled virus scanner, and and and many more (all knowledge found on internet..). Pressing the "Get Message" button in the upper menue bar shows no raction when pressed. The icon "Get Message" on the left side of the button "+ New Message" results in a none moving blue status bar at the right bottom of the window. After a while with the message "timed out.. ".In the settings "Config Editor.." the values of "mailnews.tcptimeout" are set to "300", and "true". I am using TB since donkey years with many many eMails. Are the lost? I have been using Linkman for over 15 years and have a very large collection of bookmarks. Is there anyway to enable it? I'd hate abandon Firebox as I do need this extension please help.

I am receiving legitimate invoices from about 6 different suppliers. On my email inbox they are all listed as coming from the same person (who is one of the 6 suppliers I have used.) The only common thing I can see is that they all appears to be using the same accounting software. Is there a setting somewhere - perhaps I have ticked a box accidentally - that causes this to happen? How can I change it so that the legitimate sender is named on the inbox list?

On Ebay I continually get a message from Adblock Plus that interferes with my browsing. I asked a question about this and Mozilla came up and told me I have a problem with the script not running longer. I have no idea what this is. It has never done this before. I need to be able to browse Ebay without this interference.

Is it possible to restore firefox to a previous version to recover all my data? After update, all my firefox pages, tabs, bookmarks and history have vanished. Please help me recover or restore. Thank you!
