I am a newbie to computers and tried to update my firefox & downloaded it off of mozilla and tried to follow the commands as it was suggested for linux (ubuntu 10.04) to install it. Now when i click on the firefox 33 icon it shows that on command line ouput, tar: file exists, tar: exiting with failure status due to previous errors shows up. What do I need to do to update my current firefox? Please HELP!

Hi jadej740, There are better forums for this knowledge, as Mozilla does not compile linux packages per build. Ask Ubuntu.com

They may be able to give you a better answer. Install Firefox on Linux
