Error code: ssl_error_expired_cert_alert Error - need a fix, even if it might be unsecure
Dear experts, for a website I need to install a certificate, so far so good - all looks fine. (Mac OSX 10.10.3 / Firefox 38.0.5) When trying to open the secure site I get following error:
Secure Connection Failed An error occurred during a connection to xxx.xxx.xxx.com. SSL peer rejected your certificate as expired. (Error code: ssl_error_expired_cert_alert)
When checking the Certificate in the advanced settings, it is valid until next year same as the SSL website certificate. Is there any way to fix this e.g in the about:config settings? Any hint or fix is appreciated. Many thanks!

You can check the date and time and time zone in the clock on your computer: (double) click the clock icon on the Windows Taskbar.

Date/Time and Timezone is all OK - but I can't find the Windows Taskbar on my Mac ;)
You can try to inspect the certificate in this online service:
In searching around on this issue, the error could be due to:
(1) [More common] Certificate used to sign your client certificate has expired, or was expired at the time of signing, or the version you imported into Firefox's certificate manager has expired and needs to be removed/replaced.
(2) [Uncommon] The ca.crl Certificate Revocation List has expired and needs to be regenerated.
