how do i install Firefox Portable 27.0.1 with installed firefox 17.0
I installed firefox 17.0 and portable firefox 27.0 on different partitions but I lost settings of firefox 17.0 is there any solution for this problem. Best Regards,

Please use Firefox 38, neither 17 nor 24 are supported anymore.

Firefox from mozilla.org and the portable Firefox by default installs in separate places and should not touch the other.
When I install the portable version in a separate partition it automatically checks for extension updates and the installed version lose settings and extensions. The two versions are on separate partitions with two profiles as shown in the support site. Is there any solution for this problem. Which portable firefox version that runs with firefox 38. Firefox Portable isn't capable of using the Profile from a genuine Firefox installation. The "Portable" version has its Profile in the Program Files folderset.
