When typing in Facebook or making a comment on YouTube, Disqus or Twitter, the flashing line keeps going back to the beginning and messes up the message
My whole problem is in the title. Facebook (anywhere, from chat to making status updates to searching) Twitter (Haven't tested in a long time but I'm sure it's the same) YouTube (Comments, Same goes for the notification box in the upper right that can be accessed anywhere from Google) Disqus (You know, the comments system that's used on various websites)
These are the main things I use that have the problem, there may be other things but I don't know.
Example: I typed "Hello, how are you?" in Facebook chat, but the message came out like this: "?ou yarew ho, lloeH".
For the time being, I'm using Notepad and copy+paste. I use a different browser for Twitter and other things.

It wasn't any of Avast's add-ons, they were fine. (my anti virus)
It was WebCensor - Profanity Filter. Sigh, it would have to be that, now I have to try to find a replacement. But I contacted them about the bug. Can't stand foul language, you see.
Well, thank you very much. :)
By the way, I find it funny that you say suspect and detective, heh, it's as if you knew what I like.

Something may be stealing the focus of the pointer.
Start Firefox in Safe Mode {web Link} by holding down the <Shift>
(Mac=Options) key, and then starting Firefox.
A small dialog should appear. Click Start In Safe Mode (not Refresh).
Is the problem still there?
Nope, it's typing correctly in safe mode. So what do I do now?
Type about:preferences#advanced<Enter> in the address bar. Under Advanced, Select General. Look for and turn off Use Hardware Acceleration.
Type about:addons<enter> in the address bar to open the Add-ons Manager. Hot key; <Control>(Mac=<Command>) <Shift> A)
On the left side of the page, select Appearance. Then select Default.
Now restart Firefox.
It could be the work of one of your add-ons. Type about:addons<enter> in the address bar to open your Add-ons Manager. Hot key; <Control>(Mac=<Command>)<Shift> A)
In the Add-ons Manager, on the left, select Extensions. Disable a few add-ons, then Restart Firefox.
Some added toolbar and anti-virus add-ons are known to cause Firefox issues. Disable All of them.
If the problem continues, disable some more (restarting FF). Continue until the problem is gone. After, you know what group is causing the issue. Re-enable the last group ONE AT A TIME (restarting FF) until the problem returns.
Once you think you found the problem, disable that and re-enable all the others, then restart again. Let us know who the suspect is, detective.

:-) That line is more of a joke. At this point, many are very frustrated about the problem.
