Crypto currency miners FF popups.

Twice this week at Yahoo news I did not click on any links but moved mouse around web page and a crypto currency miner window opened in FF and stated my computer was locked. I had to force shutdown my computer. Opera just added in their browser a crypto currency blocker and it perfectly described to me what happened on my computer. I think this is only going to get worse because I already use Ublock and no script addons. Here is the article, http://www.zdnet.com/article/opera-just-added-a-bitcoin-mining-blocker-to-its-browser/ I am using Windows 10 fall update and FF version 57.02 Of course Windows Defender did not help at all.

Perhaps you are allowing too much stuff in NoScript?

Also make sure your uBlock Origin has the Resource Abuse filter or NoCoin list (used by Opera) enabled.

Thanks everyone. Just in case if anyone wants to know what the 2 pop up windows looked like when it happened to me, here is the link to the discussion about it and figure 4 is exactly the windows that popped up. http://blog.trendmicro.com/trendlabs-security-intelligence/eitest-campaign-uses-tech-support-scams-deliver-coinhives-monero-miner/ I also had another popup window asking for user name and password and I think that is for if you called the fraudulent 1800# entering a username and password might have installed something with administrative privileges. I do appreciate the addon suggestions. That saved me a lot of time trying to figure out what words to use to search for an addon.
