I'm trying to add an event to my calendar using an 'add to calendar' button on a web page.

When I click on 'add to calendar' I get 'save' or 'open' in the dialogue box. 'Open' opens up and email with an attachment, 'Save' gives me options to save on my computer. Should I 'open' or 'save' and if save, where to?
