When I view a pdf on a website, what temporary directory of mine does FF download it to?

If FF has already downloaded the pdf to a temporary directory on my PC, if I want to keep the pdf I'd rather just move it to a permanent directory than re-download it to a directory of my choice. So I'd like to know which temp directory FF puts it in. BTW, I'm running FF 59.0.1 on Win 10 Pro. Thanks, Dan

Hi, it would be saved in the cache. Unfortunately the Cache Viewer add-on is no longer supported. You can try to find a 3rd party stand alone program that can. You can copy/paste about:cache into the address bar but you just get the link to where it downloaded or it can expire.

Thanks - that explains why I couldn't find it by the usual search. Dan
