This site used to be OK and I make purchases from the company. I have pointed the problem out to the company but they just give me a link for a new password.

I think this happened with another site in the past and you could send the address to Mozilla but can't see that now or any telephone number for help.

If Mozilla keeps putting up a warning they should be prepared to help if the company (a reputable one) isn't listening

I seem to have found the reason there is no HTTPS. They used to have Symantec (Norton) SSL Certificates for HTTPS. All of Symantec Certificates were revoked and are no longer supported by any browser due to security concerns of Symantec and issuing and missing certificates. So the White Company is effected by this and either do not know or are waiting for issuance of a new Certificate by DigiCert who took over.

You could ask the company how long before they get a new SSL Certificate and avoid using the site until they do.

HI, it seems the main page of the site is HTTP rather than a secure HTTPS address. This would be the issue. The Information Icon in the Address bar just shows site insecure. I do not get any yellow warning myself but maybe that is inside where your password takes you.

By practice any business running on the web with a shopping cart should have a HTTPS address for the secure encryption of your data/credit info.

It seems the site does not. Google will be down grading companies in their search and have already put warnings up in their browser.

It is impossible for Mozilla to force a company to do anything other than the warning you are already getting. As for reputable well, they they would listen to their customers and protect them.

Mozilla does not have phone numbers for support and never has. If you see one it is a scam site. Under Help there is Feedback you can send and also Report a Deceptive site. This is the official Mozilla Volunteer Support site.

I would suggest you take your business some where else that protects the customer data and credit information with integrity. Sorry their is nothing that Support can help you with here. Only you can make a difference by blogging, shouting, write a article some where, go after their stocks if a public company, find out who owns shares and ask them if they want to become part of a PR disaster. You do have the power for change. G'luck.

Thank you very much. I thought I had taken all possible steps to check my end but am far from being an expert! They said my computer must have a virus! Now I understand the reason behind it I can tell them what they should put right with confdence. I have already ceased purchases, it was impossible to keep one's details safe. I'm disappointed with their response though. But yours makes up for that!

Sorry I should have added that just after I noticed this, and I had tried to make a purchase there online, my bank card was withdrawn TWICE to be replaced on grounds of suspected fraudulent activity. Somehow I did feel the 2 events were connected. Maybe, maybe not but it is a warning anyway and I am glad I have been lucky so far. Thanks again
