Hello,

I successfully downloaded the language file on https://addons.thunderbird.net/en-Us/thunderbird/addon/woordenboek-nederlands/ (Dutch language). A click on the downloaded file results in a new (email) message with the woordenboek_nederlands-3.1.3.xpi file attached. This not seems right (Duh!).

Question is: where and how do I install the language?

OS: Linux (Ubuntu 18.04) Thunderbird: 52.9.1 (64-bit)

Update:

1. Terminal >> cp woordenboek_nederlands-3.1.3.xpi /usr/lib/thunderbird/extensions didn' t work (no permission)

2. Terminal: sudo nautilus >> copy woordenboek_nederlands-3.1.3.xpi into /usr/lib/thunderbird/extensions works but dictionary not visible in Thunderbirds drop-down list (preferences>composition/spelling)

You install xpi files via the Tools|Add-ons window.

I managed to download Dutch language via the Tools|Add-ons window.

So now what? Still can't select Dutch language for spell checking...
