STOP MAKING CHANGES TO THE DEFAULT OPTIONS. IT WASTES TIME TO HAVE TO GO UNDO THEM.
I love Firefox. But over and over and over again, after every security upgrade, it seems, I have to go back and undo all the new "improvements" that have been imposed on my browsing experience. MANY TIMES I HAVE UNINSTALLED Firefox as a result. Now it's doing a new weird thing I don't like, and so I have to stop what I'm doing and spend a half an hour figuring how to undo it.
In particular, the screen obscures my tabs. It spends computer time to jerk the screen up. Then I have to do some keystrokes to get the tabs back. But if I go back to work on the content in a tab - whoop! there go the tabs. This is a trivial example. But every time, there is at least one annoying new change I have to undo.
It was the CLASSIC firefox I liked, not this over-wrought contraption with all it's bloat-ware.

Hi,
The people who answer questions here, for the most part, are other Firefox users volunteering their time (like me), not Mozilla employees or Firefox developers.
If you want to leave feedback for Firefox developers, you can go to the Firefox Help menu and select Submit Feedback... or use this link. Your feedback gets collected by a team of people who read it and gather data about the most common issues.
