When printing a website to PDF, I'm getting the 'font settings" overlay at the bottom right corner of each page. In some cases it is even blocking page content.

Is there a way to remove the overlay from the printed PDF file?

Hi Julio, what method are you using for generating the PDF?

I'm aware of this on Firefox for Android:

menu button > Page > Save as PDF

But that doesn't show me any font choices. Is there another built-in method, or a method that uses an add-on?

I'm using Firefox for Android. Not using any add-ons. Simply saving the web- pages to PDF. Specifically the "simplified view" version of the pages (at least that's what they are called on Chrome) Not sure what Firefox calls that view. But while in that view you have the "settings" button on the lower right that allows you to change the text size and color of the page (dark, light, sepia)

I would post a screen grab of what I'm talking about, but apparently that is not possible while using the mobile version of Firefox.

Aha, "Reader view" or Reader mode. Yes, the blue button is quite unsightly in a PDF.

Does this work for you: flick the article all the way to the end. The overlay should disappear and the top toolbar should reappear.

Something fancier probably is possible, but that's what came to mind so far.

Unfortunately, that work-around doesn't seem to work for me. The article I downloaded to PDF was 20 pages long and that "blue button" appears at the bottom right of every single page. In some cases that area may be blank, so not a big deal, but on other pages that button may be blocking text, which is annoying.

Sorry, I misread your recommendation. Yes... If I scroll all the way down to the last page before downloading it to PDF, that removes the "blue button" from appearing at the bottom right of each page. A great work-around for this problem.

Thank you.
