It is not possible to lock a Firefox profile with a password. You can use a password on your own Windows user account and use a Windows guest account for other users.
will there was 2 add-on before that have done the job can you tell me if there is any way to make them work again
is Firefox company consider to make users lock there profiles in future versions and what version it will be i need aversion number please
or at least help us through any add-on that we can install from the store
That was previously done via an extension and wasn't really safe because you would only have to hold down the Shift key when starting Firefox or otherwise start Firefox in Safe mode to bypass this password protection.

As long as you have at least read access to the profile folder then you can always copy any file to another profile even if you would be able to prevent Firefox from using this profile. Only if you prevent access to your private profile at the OS level like a user account password or encrypted partition.
Otherwise you can consider to install the portable Firefox version on a removable USB jump drive. The portable version comes with its own profile folder and doesn't interfere with currently installed Firefox versions.
