In the good old days of Dial-up/Serial Comms links, and even today with Telnet, it's possible to get the Terminal to send periodic "no-ops" to the far end to keep the session open/ stop it from timing out with extended gaps between activity. Is it possible to get Firefox to do this too please? I wounder if it's possible to send some form of periodic auto-mouseclick in a set area of the webpage? I'm not looking to circumvent lack of activity session termination entirely as I only want to arrange a slightly prolong the gap.
