I can't send out any emails all of a sudden. I'm getting the following error message: "Sending of the message failed. The message could not be sent because connecting to Outgoing server (SMTP) smtpauth.earthlink.net failed. The server may be unavailable or is refusing SMTP connections. Please verify that your Outgoing server (SMTP) settings are correct and try again."

Please advise.

If nothing has changed, my first suggestion is to contact Earthlink to see of policies have changed or whether they are having a problem.

Same problem started last night. Earthlink support says it's nothing on their end and I can still send from Earthlink webmail but I have used Thunderbird for years and now it suddenly doesn't send emails.

Please post your smtp server settings screenshot and the explicit error message you are receiving. Thanks.
