I know you go to options & advance panel to turn on prevent redirect but don't remember how. Help!

I liked the feature of preventing redirecting but somehow it got shut off, I was told the switch is in tools/option/advance but I do not see it. What do I do to turn the switch to PREVENT re-directing.
