Problem with distorted images in Firefox?
I've tried re-installing Firefox and flash player, as well as removing several extensions. Nothing's worked so far. It's only been happening fairly recently within the past week. Not all, but some images are pixelated/distorted and some websites aren't loading properly. I tried to upload the pictures of what I mean on Photobucket but I couldn't even do that. :/
Anyone else have this problem? I've tried doing this: https://support.mozilla.com/en-US/questions/742502#answer-27163 but it hasn't worked.

If you use extensions like Adblock Plus or NoScript or Flash Block that can block content then make sure that such extensions aren't blocking content.
- "Clear the Cache": Tools > Options > Advanced > Network > Offline Storage (Cache): "Clear Now"
- "Remove the Cookies" from sites that cause problems: Tools > Options > Privacy > Cookies: "Show Cookies"
Start Firefox in Diagnose Firefox issues using Troubleshoot Mode to check if one of your add-ons is causing your problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Tools > Add-ons > Themes).
- Don't make any changes on the Safe mode start window.

I did everything you wrote, but unfortunately it didn't work. Some images are still distorted.
Another couple of problems I have is that I continue to get a "content encoding error" and sometimes when I try to load pages I always get a blank screen (even when it says "done" on the bottom) and have to open a new tab to reload the page.
I would post more pictures, but even imageshack isn't working for me anymore.
Which security software (firewall) do you have?
If it isn't caused by Firefox then you may have security software that is changing the HTTP response header and causing an unsupported form of compression error.
Remove all rules for Firefox from the permissions list in the firewall and let your firewall ask again for permission to get full unrestricted access to internet for Firefox and the plugin-container process.

Not sure if we have the same problem... My experience is text formatting of a page gets distorted on some HTTPS sites. For example, the secure login of eBay comes out distorted and it makes it really difficult to read the page
I'm having the same problem with images from a web site I'm developing. Images are distorted with FireFox and Chrome (not with IE, Opera, Safari, & Maxthon). I have no special firewall rules for firefox (just allow), and am using the default theme.
I have tried:
- Firefox in safe mode - makes no difference
- have disabled all extensions and plugins (except for the Real Player ones which can NOT be disabled) - makes no difference
Firefox only distorts the images if I use a web server, ie. http://localhost ... When I access the web pages via the file system, i.e. file:///D:/ ... the images display correctly.
