I have a list of favorite sites in the favorites section of explorer, I don't know the web address of a lot of them as I just click on favs then highlight the site I want, how do I transfer the list to Firefox?

Valittu ratkaisu

In IE:
File > Import/Export - Export to HTML file

then in Firefox:
Bookmarks > Organize Bookmarks -> Import & Backup - Import HTML... = From HTML file

Thank you so very much, I figured there must be a way but I'm not savvy enough to figure it out!!!

I too want to transfer my favorites into Firefox. However, the Bookmark tab on my Firefox has no option for "Organize Bookmarks" or "Manage Bookmarks" "Import and Backup" or any of those things. There is no option of any kind for importing or managing Bookmarks. I have just downloaded Mozilla Firefox from their site yesterday so I assume I have the latest version.

That menu item is named Show All Bookmarks in Firefox 4+ versions.
