When I try to bring up myspace.com the characters in many of the labels are displayed incorrectly. Opera displays the page correctly. Even viewing the page source the characters are in error:

Firefox: <meta name="keywords" content="MySpace,マイスペース,音楽,無料, </p><p>Opera: <meta name=" keywords"="" allow="" pages="" to="" use="" their="" own="" fonts"="" and="" that="" didn't="" change="" anything="" either.="" <="" p="">

Even viewing the page source the characters are in error: Firefox: <meta name="keywords" content="MySpace,マイスペース,音楽,無料, Opera: <meta name="keywords" content="myspace, social entertainment, I have disabled all of my plugins, but it doesn't fix the problem. I unchecked "Allow pages to use their own fonts" and that didn't change anything either.

Looks that you open the Japanese version of MySpace.

  • "Clear the Cache": Tools > Options > Advanced > Network > Offline Storage (Cache): "Clear Now"
  • "Remove the Cookies" from sites that cause problems: Tools > Options > Privacy > Cookies: "Show Cookies"
