I imagine your versions of Flash and Yahoo are not compatible, upgrade them to the latest version and all should be well.

Both Yahoo and Adobe Flash do not have updates. That was stated when I was downloading 4.0 and did not know how to cease the download. I NEED HELP TO GET BACK TO THE LAST VERSION OF FIREFOX, PLEASE.

I googled "firefox 3.6.16 download" (I think that is the latest version before Firefox 4) and found this site: http://mac.softpedia.com/progDownload/Firefox-Download-3007.html

I clicked on: External Mirror 2 - 3.6.16 [DMG] This downloaded my previous version with all my add-ons working.

Good luck--hope that this helps.

Be careful because Firefox 3.6.16 isn't compatible with the latest version of Flash either. When I watch YouTube or other online videos the frames won't change until I move my mouse off the video and then back onto the video. If I want to watch a video with any degree of animation I have to wiggle the mouse back and forth across one of the edges of the video. IE works fine.

This happened years ago and now it's back. It's funny how bizarre bugs get into this browser, disappear for years, and then reappear.

This is one of the reasons I like having multiple browsers on my computer. When one gets broken from an update I tend to drift back to the other until one of its developers breaks something there, then I return to the other browser because in that time the bug usually gets fixed.  :)
