I can not submit files to my school site (Devry online) using firefox. Is this a settings issue and if it is where should I look?

Files are attached using a javascript. The script works (does in IE) by selecting a file from location and then uploads. When using firefox once I select the file and press the upload button I get an error message stating that the file is empty or can not be found.

There is a known issue with the software they use. It is not compatible with Firefox 7. AFAIK, they are working on a fix
