Problem with images and text not loading?
Most Images and "comments" sections do not load on Huffington Post. Also "log in" does not repsond when clicked. I see "Javascriotvoid.0 at bottom of page. This all started happening after most recent Firefox update. How do I fix all this? Thanks - ChrisO

Make sure that you do not block JavaScript.
Start Firefox in Diagnose Firefox issues using Troubleshoot Mode to check if one of the extensions or if hardware acceleration is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox (Tools) > Add-ons > Appearance/Themes).
- Don't make any changes on the Safe mode start window.
If images are missing then check that you aren't blocking images from some domains.
- Check the permissions for the domain in the current tab in "Tools > Page Info > Permissions"
- Check that images are enabled: Tools > Options > Content: [X] Load images automatically
- Check the exceptions in "Tools > Options > Content: Load Images > Exceptions"
- Check the "Tools > Page Info > Media" tab for blocked images (scroll through all the images with the cursor Down key).
If an image in the list is grayed and there is a check-mark in the box "Block Images from..." then remove that mark to unblock the images from that domain.
Make sure that you do not block third-party images permissions.default.images
There are also extensions (Tools > Add-ons > Extensions) and security software (firewall, anti-virus) that can block images.
Thanks for all your suggestions, cor-el. Unfortunately I wasn't able to solve the problem. For whatever reason, I still cannot get most pictures and the "comments to load on Huffington Post. I do appreciate you taking time to try to figure this out. ChrisO
Some images and text are blocked at Huffington Post;
The following has been included in http://kb.mozillazine.org/Adblock for convenience of others:
If you have the "Adblock Plus" extension, you could be blocking both images and text with filters, or whole files with javascript or CSS, etc. which may be on purpose, or could be causing problems if blocking too much.
Right click on the ADP toolbar icon or addons bar icon and choose "Open blockable items". Suggest displaying: Address, Filter, Type, and State (sorted, red at top) -- selected from the icon at the right of the titles.
If something is blocked you will be able to see what filter blocked it and where that filter resides by hovering over the blocked item line to identify which filter subscription, or your own. There is also a context (right-click) menu associated with each line. You can block/unblock the filter on that list via the context menu for the line and see the change in the "State" symbol, or permanently delete the filter altogether on the Preferences list.
All of the filters are listed in Preferences -- right click on ADP icon then choose "Preferences". The Preferences list shows filters by location (subscription) and has checkmark boxes to activate or suppress the filter.
Please when you post, provide the specific url for someone to look at, and a better description of what you see and don't see so others can compare Firefox to use on another profile or another browser. I can find the main page of Huffington Post (http://www.huffingtonpost.com) because I've been there but don't expect everyone to even find the page or find it easily, it is your question make it as easy as possible for others to check it out -- your time vs asking many people to find the page or type out the url before they can even check it out.

I see "Javascriotvoid.0 at bottom of page:
Actually I think your actual problem is related to JavaScript, and it could be just a specific web page, or your own controls, or even Adblock Plus blocking a file with JavaScript.
If I turn off JavaScript, I do not see that message, but it sure does play havoc with images on main page at http://www.huffingtonpost.com
Tools > Options > Content > [X] Enable JavaScript -- use "Alt" first if no menu bar
You could be blocking JavaScript if you have the "NoScript" extension which I would never use.
Please mark "Solved" one answer that will best help others with a similar problem -- hope this was it, and definitely include a comment upon being solved as to actual problem and the actual url.
Thank you for your help. As far as I can tell, I do not have adblock/adblockplus (I checked the addons and extensions lists). I did look at the error console in web developer (in Firefox button menu) when on the HuffPo website ((http://www.huffingtonpost.com) and found these error messages repeated numerous times
Error in parsing value for filter. Declaration dropped. Error in parsing value for background. Declaration dropped. _________________________________________________________ I apologize for not using the url for the site. This is my first time asking a question and did not know the correct protocol.
Re the description: More specifically, on the site home page, the "Headline" picture loads, but pictures for specific articles do not load. When I go to an article page, the picture connected associates with the article loads, but the "slide show" for other articles at the top of the page do not load. Also on article pages, no comments load under the comments section at the bottom of the article.

Thanks. While on the HuffPo site (http://www.huffingtonpost.com), I followed the path you suggested and "enable JavaScript" box is checked in the Content tab.
Don't know if it matters, but under advanced settings for the "enable JavaScript ", the "move or restore existing windows" and "disable or replace context menu" are both checked. The "raise or low window" option is not checked.
As I noted above, I checked the error console in web developer menu and found these error messages repeated many time:
Error in parsing value for filter. Declaration dropped. Error in parsing value for background. Declaration dropped.
Thanks again
