When opening Firefox 8, I continualing get a pop-up to download the program again and then I get 6 tabs opening some with welcome to Firefox and one that is an old website I had open. before

I get everytime I open program I get 2 blank tabs, a getting starte tab, an ebay tab that I was looking at when program was downloaded and one other Firefox introductory tab

It is also possible that there is a problem with the files sessionstore.js and sessionstore.bak in the Firefox Profile Folder.
Delete the sessionstore.js [2] file and possible sessionstore-##.js [3] files with a number and sessionstore.bak in the Firefox Profile Folder.

Deleting sessionstore.js will cause App Tabs and Tab Groups and open and closed (undo) tabs to get lost, so you will have to create them again (make a note or bookmark them).
