Reminderfox autosynch works one way only.
My partner runs FireFox on Mac. I run mine on Win7 Enterprise. We downloaded Reminderfox at the same time and installed it. She has a webserver running on the Mac, and we have tried to auto-synch ReminderFox across our LAN. Her ReminderFox will successfully update mine. On my machine, however, all I get is 'ReminderFox network error: null' . We are both running ReminderFox 1.9.9.5.

Hi, Have you checked to make sure that the configuration options are using the same settings as your partner? A network error could be a server issue if you're using a separate service, but since you are using your own server, it seems like the configuration settings might just be incorrectly set.
Thanks, Michelle
Hello, the win7 box won't upload to the network - we get 'method not allowed' when we try to 'export to network'. Also, it only downloads a few bytes when 'importing from network'. However, I can download this file using Firefox, no problem. As the Mac updates are being passed to the Win7 box, I can only assume that both machines are using the same file. The contents of the file we can download in Firefox contain the latest changes we've made to the ics file on the Mac, which would seem to substantiate assumption. Both instances of Reminderfox are set up identically, afaik, but I can check tomorrow - later today, that is. However, as she's writing to a local file, she shouldn't have issues with it. Perhaps more on the morrow, when I've shouted and yelled at it some more :)
Hello Michelle, In a fit of pique, I installed Filezilla, and tried synching over straight FTP. My logs informed me that the data was being transferred both ways, but this was not reflected in the app on the Mac. So then my partner, who does this sort of stuff in her day job, got involved and has spent the morning debugging the Mac side. We think that her install of ReminderFox is broken, because she is seeing the same transfers as I was seeing, and I get her updates. My updates can be seen in the ics file on her machine, but not in the app itself. So, rip it out and put it back is the next move.
Cheers paul
