Just HOLD on the text and TAP on the selected text and you can get the list of options including Copy Text

Some sites disable the text selection (for example Twitter). Would you try on a known good site such as https://en.wikipedia.org

I tested it on Wikipedia. It doesn't select/copy text.

Checked in Samsung Galaxy S2, Firefox Version 26.0.1


You may try with beta version
