As of today, Flashplayer continuously crashes in Firefox on my Mac. I have tried every suggestion (reinstalling flashplayer, resetting firefox, etc. etc. etc.--Nothing works. Neither Mozilla or Adobe provide any support other than from other users. Ridiculous! It's like buying a new BMW and if I have a problem, BMW referring to other purchasers for a solution. Cheap way to do business but doesn't sell products. Unless I get some immediate help I will give up on Firefox and they will have at least one less person who reads their adds.

I don't have any experience with Flash 13 (beta). Would you consider using Flash 12 (release version) instead? Or did you switch to the beta to try to solve a problem with Flash 12?

In case one of your extensions is involved, could you test the page in Firefox's Safe Mode? That's a standard diagnostic tool to deactivate extensions and some advanced features of Firefox. More info: Diagnose Firefox issues using Troubleshoot Mode.

You can restart Firefox in Safe Mode using

Help > Restart with Add-ons Disabled (Flash and other plugins still run)

In the dialog, click "Start in Safe Mode" (not Reset)

Any difference?

Also, I'm not sure what ads you are talking about: Firefox doesn't show ads.

P.S. If you want to pay a BMW price for your browser, I'm sure someone will be happy to provide BMW service.

There have been issues reported with this version of the Flash plugin crashing on some older Mac computers due to the compiler generating incompatible code.

The only way to recover is to uninstall the Flash 13 version and revert to an older Flash version and wait for Adobe to release an update that addresses this issue.

The latest Flash 11.7 version, available via this link, is recommended in this case because it has the latest security patches.
