Halo.

[Android 4.1.2. on Asus ME371MG with Intel Atom]

For firefox on android, I can not find an option to set the "default-folder" for saving files such as images, save as pdf, and other downloaded files.

Is the option available but I do not see it ??

Thanks.

Hi quapurna, Currently there is not a feature to specify a folder by default for specific file types. However, there is a feature to change the file path but its not visible.

browser.download.dir was the desktop feature, but this is not seen in Android.

There is a cross hack http://forum.xda-developers.com/galax.../tool-directorybind-data-to-externalsd-t1410262

That's all I have.

Firefox Android developers. Please, provide an option to select the default folder for saving files (image, save as pdf, etc) in the internal and/or external storage media. Thanks.

Thanks, guigs2. I have voted for that bug.

Actually, I have done the 'trick' written by jscher2000: https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/questions/978679#answer-505258

Now, FF will save image on the folder I set. The addon "Fennec Screenshot 0.1.4" also uses that folder now. However, FF "save as pdf" feature does not use the folder I set.

Thanks.
