a POPUP window named OpenSoftwareUpdater keeps appearing. Is this your product, is it safe to load?

When on a website, a popup window named OpenSoftwareUpdater keeps appearing. It claims to enhance and update software but also states that it is NOT a product of or associated with Mozilla Firefox. I keep closing the popup but it reappears in a few moments. Is this a safe program to load or is it malware/virus or other?

OpenSoftwareUpdater has nothing to do with Mozilla. Consider it malware.
