What do I do about Chinese characters intermittently appearing on the task bar?

Chinese characters appear suddenly in front of the tab on the task bar on my pc. This started after a friend added new anti- virus, defraggler, c-clean on the computer. When noticed, the computer is immediately turned off which is 2-3 times a day. Suggestions, please? Thanks

The McAfee SiteAdvisor extension has been reported to cause issues with text Chinese (CJK) characters appearing on tabs, so you can disable this extension.
