Lightbeam cannot install 4 android

Hello, My device: Sansung Galaxy Note 2, Fully updated. After installing Firefox 3.5 for android from google play store, it works.

However, for Firefox's "Addon's" page (or any "Lightbeam" download page) I cannot install "Lightbeam" no matter what version of Lightbeam or Firefox I try.

I keep getting a message on the bottom of my screen saying... "Lightbeam could not be installed because it is not compatible with Firefox 35.0.1". (or whatever version)

Can you please offer any wisdom? I would love to be able to run both apps on my phone. I have no trouble for my home pc. Thanks in advance for your help. J

Lightbeam is created for desktop Firefox. It is up to the Lightbeam developers to support Firefox for Android. There is an open issue at https://github.com/mozilla/lightbeam/issues/450 but not much progress.

Thanks for the reply. Lightbeam may be created for desktop but I was on a page that said "dowload Lightbeam for android" then transfered me to the download page where it did not install. Please Mozilla, fix this so we can all use it on android. Thank you.
