there used to be a + next to my open tab to click on to open a new page, it has disappeared :(

my default page is yahoo finance when ever firefox opens. there used to be a blank tab next to it with the + symbol for me to open another page while i preserve the first page. that + for new tab had disappeared. I need it back, pressing CTL T is a pain. thanks so much in advance for your help

Hello zayde617, try to disable your "Hide Tab Bar With One Tab" extension and see if the issue persist.

Open the Customize window and set which toolbar items to display.

  • "3-bar" Firefox menu button > Customize
  • View > Toolbars > Customize
  • if missing items are in the Customize palette then drag them back from the Customize window on the toolbar
  • if you do not see an item on a toolbar and in the Customize palette then click the Restore Defaults button to restore the default toolbar setup
