Thunderbird not signing in to gmail on mac

Thunderbird does not sign into my gmail account on my mac, however it does so perfectly fine on multiple different computers with windows. IMAP is enabled on my gmail account and the problem occurs with and without thunderbird added to the firewall on the mac. A picture of my configuration is attached. Both ports for the smtp server do not work. When I attempt to sign in it tells me that the username or password is invalid and when I click retest it tells me that thunderbird is unable to find the settings from the server. Thank you in advance

Server names should be: imap.googlemail.com smtp.googlemail.com

Choose 'OAuth2' as 'Authentication method' for both, outgoing and incoming server.
