Type in the blue bar at top, tabs and drop-downs is missing or has hyphens in place.
Also missing from most visited dropdown and customize menu.

Can you please elaborate your issue like which version of Firefox browser you are using and what are the specifications of your system.If possible please add some screenshot also. So that we can help you out in best possible way.
Not sure of the Firefox version. I've tried to refresh and upgrade several times. System is HP Compaq running XP
Try the Firefox SafeMode and see if it works better.

Yes this might me an issue just check that what is the default language or font of your browser.
This would be the default font for Firefox? Not sure, all that type is missing also. Can you name the default font?
Did you try Firefox Safe Mode?
Did you try to disable hardware acceleration in Firefox?
You can do a font test to see if you can identify corrupted font(s).
You can try different default fonts and temporarily disable website fonts to test the selected default font.
