Hi I am on the security page and trying to enable REMEMBER PASSWORDS FOR SITES. I am unable to put a tick in the box and also USE A MASTER PASSWORD. I am probably doing some thing wrong but I cannot see what it might be. Thanks

Start Firefox in Safe Mode to check if one of the extensions (Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Extensions) or if hardware acceleration is causing the problem.
- Switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Appearance
- Do NOT click the Reset button on the Safe Mode start window

On the Privacy tab > History, do you have Always use private browsing mode selected?
I do not have .......Always use private browsing mode ........ on the privacy tab....... history
