While cleaning my mouse wheel, it was moving around on my screentop, and deleted my icon for Thunderbird. How do I restore the icon to my desktop? My Thunderbird is working okay, I just need to put the icon back on the screen so I don't have to click to get to my email. Thank you.

Check your trash. If there, you can right-click 'Restore' Otherwise you may have to create a new shortcut. Easy if you are familiar with Windows 10 File Explorer. Are you?

It would be useful to know which Operating System you are using. Windows? 7, 8 or 10?

Or something else?

Thank you so much for your help. The icon was in the trash and it popped right back into place where it belonged.
