I live in the UK but periodically visit the USA. When I am in the USA some URLs which I use regularly at home get automatically translated to their international counterparts. For example, if I type www.bbc.co.uk at home, that site is loaded. If I am in the USA it is translated to www.bbc.com, which does not access the same information.

This is just one example - the same thing occurs with other websites.

How to I force Firefox to open the specific URL I want to access?
