Firefox Problem with System Mechanic?

Installed System Mechanic (iolo) and everything was working fine until a few days ago. Periodically Firefox will stop responding and sometimes freeze. Sometimes I have to exit; other times it slowly gets back to responding. Is this an incompatibility with System Mechanic? Haven't used the iolo program before but thought I'd try it. Can remove the program if this is bad for Firefox.

System Mechanic (or any sort of registry "cleaner") is not a safe program to be run on any computer, and can cause problems with all sorts of programs, even so far as causing you to reinstall the operating system entirely. I'd suggest ceasing it's use immediately.
