When I download a file, there is a very loud claxon sound when it finishes. How do I change this sound?
When I download a video or any file, the alert when finished sound is very loud and unpleasant. How can I change this alert??

I located the problem in an add-on as was suggested I do that found the add-on the sound was coming from and stopped it. Thanks to all for the help.
I tried to mark it as solved but said access denied oh well.

Firefox itself does not make that kind of noise. But a downloader may. Are you using one? Check it's settings.
I have checked my control panel and find no "downloader" programs. I am not even sure why one would be needed.
If this is the problem how would I search for "downloader" programs?
How about the Add-ons Manager in Firefox?
Did you check the sound settings in Windows control panel to see if there is an sound effect configured for such an event?
