back button requires 2 clicks
Recently upgraded to Firefox 42 and trying to understand why you now have to click and then navigate a dropdown menu to go forward forward or backwards, or do a double click on the forward or back buttons
What is the purpose of taking a simple one click operation and turning it in to a 2 or 3 click-syep process? Huge annoyance. Web pages that open with in the browser with navigation buttons or bars work correctly - 1 forward or 1 back click navigates one page; only double click problem is within the Firefox tool bar at the top of browser.
Please don't tell me this is the new way it works. If so, dumping Firefox and going to Chrome. How could you screw up something so simple?

¡Hola!

¡Gracias!
Did you hold down the left mouse button on the Back/forward button to check the tab history?
Start Firefox in Safe Mode to check if one of the extensions (Firefox menu button/Tools > Add-ons > Extensions) or if hardware acceleration is causing the problem.
- Switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox menu button/Tools > Add-ons > Appearance
- Do NOT click the Reset button on the Safe Mode start window
Thanks but that really did not solve the issue. Its a shame you have taken basic tool bar functionality and screwed it up. When I read the blogs on the Chrome page, the single largest complaints are the same thing - you have taken proven and accepted UI's, tried to slam them in a half size box and prevent users for tailoring the web browser the way the USER WANTS it, and eliminated tool bars and tool bar tailoing. I've worked in IT for almost 40 years and continue to watch software companies repeat this mistake, with Microsoft probably being the biggest offender in last few years.
Looking for a new browser. I've been using FF since version 1, but your latest changes are not meeting my needs.
Does https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/noun-buttons/ do what you want?
