These are folders other than the usual Inbox, Trash, etc. (such as Genealogy for collecting pertinent email). These reside on the left side of screen.

Sad to see you cross grading operating systems. Support for XP is almost gone. Even from Thunderbird. Another version perhaps.

first install Thunderbird about Version 3 that still have the import from Netscape code. on your old machine and then import to Thunderbird.
