When I load certain pages, they continue refreshing every second, which greatly slows down Firefox in general (I already tried safe mode).

When I load certain pages, they continue refreshing constantly (about once a second), which drastically slows down the performance of Firefox.

I have already tried refreshing Firefox and using safe mode. Neither of these solves the problem.
