Address Book name & display scramble when respective contact is e-mailed

On some contacts, the contact name is added to the display and some scramble the first and last names and add something to the display. All my displays are blank so the contact is listed by the organization name. Disabling the add-ons has no affect on this problem.

I am not sure what your mean. When you look at the message source (ctrl+U) you will see the display name as it is set on the incoming mail. Thunderbird uses the display name from your address book for internal display of the from. But the header display will be used when you click reply.
