Standard procedure would be to try clearing cache and relevant cookies.

Alan's suggestion of clearing the Cache and the Cookies both helped solve the problem right away.
(Fred - To answer your question - the site just wasn't loading. It just sat there with a blank screen and there were no error messages of any kind. Perhaps Firefox can help this by at least providing some message ?)
