Import old RSS feed items stored in Windows Live Mail to Thunderbird

I'm new in Thunderbird and I'm thinking in using it just to read, manage and store RSS feeds. I'm migrating from Windows Live Mail to Thunderbird, and I have already setup my news feeds, all them working nicely.

My question is: how do I do to transfer/import all my old feed items currently stored in Windows Live Mail to Thunderbird?

I'm new in Thunderbird and I'm thinking in using it just to read, manage and store RSS feeds. I do not use RSS feeds, but I did locate this info:

The info at the link below implies you need to export the WLM feeds in OPML format, so you can import.
