Website don't load on my PC - works on other PC - still error after troubleshoot
I troubleshoot but it would be nice with some help.
SITE: mickansandelin.se/blog
The site is down on my stationary PC but show on my laptop. I never had any problem at all with this before the migration of the server at my host. It wont show in any browser on my PC. It show on Firefox on my laptop on the same ISP. (I have had the same error on the laptop though during the week. The site has come and go and for now it is up)
I think that the error has something to do with this:
https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/websites-dont-load-troubleshoot-and-fix-errors
https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/firefox-cant-load-websites-other-browsers-can
I´ve cleared the history and cookie cash Checked my security program Gone down the list of firefox recommendations above
But it is still the same error on my stationary PC - the site wont load and finally give this error message:
The connection was interrupted The server at mickansandelin.se unresponsive.
The place may be temporarily down or busy. Try again later. If you can not open any page at all, check your computer's network connection. If your computer or network protected by a firewall or proxy, make sure that Firefox is permitted to connect to the Web.
It is very strange.
Any tip or guide would be welcome!

You can remove all data stored in Firefox from a specific domain via "Forget About This Site" in the right-click context menu of an history entry ("History > Show All History" or "View > Sidebar > History").
Using "Forget About This Site" will remove all data stored in Firefox from that domain like bookmarks and history and cookies and passwords and cache and exceptions, so be cautious. If you have a password or other data from that domain that you do not want to lose then make sure to backup this data or make a note.
Can't recover from this 'forget' unless you have a backup of involved files.
If you revisit a 'forgotten' website then data from that website will be saved once again.
Do a malware check with several malware scanning programs on the Windows computer.
Please scan with all programs because each program detects different malware. All these programs have free versions.
Make sure you update each program to get the latest version of their databases before doing a scan.

Thanks for very rapid reply. I´ll check it out.
One question on "Forget About This Site"
What data exactly will this erase..? I understand history and cookies - but what else..? Domain: mickansandelin.se Site: mickansandelin.se/blog
Will this erase:
wp-login data..? webmail login data...? cpanel login data...? subdomain sites data..?
Thanks again - very helpful!

It will remove everything including stored names and passwords and bookmarks in addition to cookies and cache from that domain, so always use "Forget About This Site" with extreme caution as a last resort. It doesn't affect other websites.
You can check the connection settings.
- Tools > Options > Advanced > Network : Connection > Settings
- https://support.mozilla.org/kb/Options+window+-+Advanced+panel
If you do not need to use a proxy to connect to internet then try to select "No Proxy" if "Use the system proxy settings" or one of the others do not work properly.
See "Firefox connection settings":
Did you run any malware checks?
You can boot the computer in Windows Safe mode with network support to see if that has effect in case security or other software is causing problems.
Thanks. I will check this out. I can add that the site shows up on my PC with a proxy site like this for instance: (if that is any help) http://kproxy.com/

Thanks a lot for all support.
Did run through the whole list (but the rootkiller soft which I did not find) and tried Safe mode but the site is still down on my PC.
Possibly I have to install a new OP and start all over - I will also migrate my site to a new server - and see if something happpens.
Thanks again for all help!

Do other browsers have the same issue and fail to connect as well?
If it works with a proxy then it is possible that the website is blocking your IP.
You can try a different DNS server to see if that has effect.
Otherwise you would have to contact the hosting company and have then check for possible IP blocks.
It is kind of strange.
The problem started after a migration to a new server that my webhost did.
I can see the site through proxy but not in any browser - firefox/opera - on my stationary PC. I can see the site on my laptop and I guess you can see the site. After the migration the blogposts are dated - one year is missing - and I try to contact the support but it is not easy as the support is quite bad. (hostnine)
My only thought is that maybe somehow there is a block in my IP... I really do not know what it could be. If there were some corrupt files it would be problem on all pc:s...
Thanks for feedback! Very nice of you.
