Opening tab using new identity profile is not working correctly

more options

When I try to 'open a link in a new identity profile' nothing happens - no new tab appears, it does not direct me to a new window, nothing appears to happen at all. when I then try to open the same link in a new tab it opens it in whatever identity profile I chose when I tried to use 'open in a new identity profile', but then it will not change back to the identity profile of the original tab, opening every subsequent tab in the second profile, unless i then click on the new tab and choose the old identity profile in 'open in a new identity profile'!!! This is so annyoing. Obviously I have figured out how to work around it but.. MAKE IT STOP!!! This has taken a shortcut and made it a longcut! Thanks

Hi julesofb, I think this is a feature of the Multifox extension:

When I try to 'open a link in a new identity profile' nothing happens - no new tab appears, it does not direct me to a new window, nothing appears to happen at all.

This issue will be fixed in the next update, and there is a pre-release "beta" test version available that you could install now if this is a showstopper for you. Otherwise, you might wait for it to be finalized:
